Light of Hope Award for Public Service
This award will be made to the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors for their dedication and support for abused and neglected children in the County. The Board of Supervisors has provided CASA with more than 20 years of support.
Light of Hope Legacy Award
This award will be made to Kathleen Odne. Ms Odne the first Executive Director of the Lesher Foundation will retire in 2017 after 23 years of support and service to the Contra Costa community and to CASA. The Lesher Foundation has hired Melissa Stafford Jones as its next Executive Director. Ms. Odne will serve on the Lesher Foundation Board of Directors when she retires from her role as Executive Director.
Light of Hope Award for Outstanding Community Benefit
This award will be made to Chevron Corporation. Chevron has provided unwavering support for the neediest children in Contra Costa County. They have not only provided sponsorship to help fund CASA’s work, but they have also provided leadership for the organization with several of their executives serving on the Board of Directors at various points over the last two decades, and as CASA volunteers.
